Currently Coveting - Winter Essentials (Featuring Hollister & Co., UGG Australia, J. Crew, Dorothy Perkins)

Winter Holidays are fast approaching.

Tis the season for boots, thick scarves, and warm layers!

Currently Coveting - Winter Essentials

Hollister Arrow Point Parka in Olive - I love Hollister jackets, particularly ones with fur hoods. I've been wanting an olive or army green colored winter jacket for this season!

J. Crew Chevron Checker Snood - Warm knit scarves are one of my winter essentials! This chevron patterned neutral colored scarf (or snood) is beautiful.

Dorothy Perkins Camel Two Toned Knitted Snood - This is a cheaper (more affordable) version of the J. Crew Snood. Still super cute and something to keep you warm this winter.

UGG Classic Short Boots in Gray & Pink - I've been converted to an UGG boot lover after purchasing my first pair back in November of 2012. These two pairs are super cute!

What are your winter essentials?

October 2012 Haul

I can't believe it's already November. This year is flying by! I've done a lot more shopping this month than I'm used to. I've kept my promise of the no nonsense makeup ban though! :)

MAC Brush Cleanser ($14)

This is the second bottle I've bought. I'm almost done with my first and I figured I would buy it before that ran out. Its something that's a staple - clean brushes are important! For the price and size, it's a pretty good deal. Its taken me over a year to use it up. I bought my first one last September which I featured in this post.

MAC 224 Tapered Blending Brush ($31)

I've wanted this brush for a while and decided one day to just buy it! This is great for blending. I don't think this brush is a must have (at the moment) but I do enjoy it and would recommend it.

UGG Australia Women's Bailey Button Boots in Chestnut ($164)

I decided a few months ago that I wanted ugg boots. I kept looking at them everytime I went until Dillards and couldn't decide if I wanted the traditional boots or the ones with the buttons. I think these are easier to put on compared to the traditional boots at the same height. These were the ones I chose and they are so soft and warm!

UGG Australia Sheepskin Stain & Water Repellent ($8)

Since I paid so much for the boots, I knew that I would want to do anything to preserve the life of them. Boots get so gross during the winter from the salt so I decided to buy this before the first snow fall of the season.

Apt. 9 Midcalf Boots in Black ($49.99)

About a month ago, I decided that since I have a pair of brown boots, I wanted a pair of black boots next. I like these because they aren't too high. They aren't suede so I won't have to worry about them in the rain or snow. I bought these during the Kohl's sale.

Croft and Barrow Boat Shoes ($38.99)

I've wanted boat shoes/sperries for awhile. I never wanted to splurge on them though, so I never bought them. During a Kohl's promotion, I was able to get these babies on sale! They look very similar to the Sperry Top-Sider Angelfish Boat Shoes that I featured in another blog. Those retail for $80.

Slippers ($10)

I was hoping the slippers I got for this past Christmas would last until this Christmas. However, I desperately needed a new pair. Mine were falling apart. I found these in a shoe store in the Shoe Department at the mall. They are so soft and comfortable.

Scarves (under $10 each)

I don't remember the exact price of these scarves but I bought them on sale. The first one is from New York and Company. The second one is from Charlotte Russe.

Vivani Cuff Watch (under $20)

I bought this watch from the Kohl's sale. I don't remember the exact price but it was under $20. I wanted a gold based watch, however I choose this one that was both gold & silver based. I've been loving this watch because it's also square shaped which has been something that I've been eyeing for a while!

Jennifer Lopez Faux-Suede Motorcycle Jacket ($70)

I fell in love with this jacket as soon as I saw it on a maniquin. This is from Kohl's and I got it at a discount during the sale as well. This is so warm and soft. It would be PERFECT if it had a hood and was a little bit longer. This is a crop like jacket. It falls slightly above or almost at your belt loops on your jeans.

That is everything that I've bought this month! I don't usually include the work clothing that I find from the Goodwill. If anyone wants me to do a post on my work/dress clothes, let me know.
