Blogruary is officially over! I think I did pretty good, even though I did skip a few days. I won't be trying this again for a little while, but I am gonna try to blog more than I did before I started blogruary!

blogruary day 24 - ulta haul

I haven't blogged in a few days, sorry! I've had a few exams and assignments for school recently which has kept me busy. Although, I haven't been able to blog everyday of February, I plan to blog more often after this month.


Today I went to Ulta with my mom and she bought me a few things. I wasn't expecting her to buy me anything, I planned to pay for it myself.


L'oreal was buy 2 get 1 free so we bought some more of our foundation which is the mineral foundation. We each bought a foundation and she bought a finishing powder. I also had a $1 off manufacturer coupon and a $3.50 off ulta coupon.

I finally got the Urban Decay Naked2 palette. I have been looking at it on blogs and on YouTube videos, however I hadn't seen it in person. It is so pretty! I can't wait to use it. I definitely kind of cheated on my project x pan and eye shadow out 2012. I'm going to try to make only this one exception!


I think that I will also be including limited edition products to my exceptions. I have been eyeing some products in the MAC Chen Man Love & Water Collection and the MAC Too Supreme Collection coming out March 1st. I really like the force of love lipstick and lipglass and the zen rose sheen supreme lipstick.

blogruary day 19 - products with fun names

I thought a cute blog post would be products that I want to buy mainly (or only) based upon their names!

This was not as easy as I was expecting it to be. Mainly due to the fact that I had to search online in each different category and brand to find cute names. I heard about the benefit lipstick from a YouTube video which was the inspiration for this blog post.

blogruary day 18 - eye shadow out 2012

I have decided to add another project to the list! Not only am I doing project x pan and gloss out 2012, I am also doing eye shadow out 2012! I'm not sure if anyone has done this before because I couldn't find anything about it on YouTube or Google.

Eye shadow out - a promise to myself not to buy any eye shadow for an entire year.

Since it is half way through February, I will be starting today and ending on February 18, 2013. I want to do this project because I have too many eye shadows that I don't use very often.

Blogruary day 17 - Gloss Out 2012

In addition to project x pan, I will also be doing gloss out 2012. Since It is half way through February, I will do this project from today until February 17, 2013.

Gloss Out - a promise to myself to not buy any new lip glosses for an entire year. Many people allow themselves to buy 5 lip glosses during this process, but I am trying to not buy any!

I am doing this because I feel that I have too many lip glosses that I do not use. I want to use up the ones that I am not a huge fan of.

blogruary day 16 - my mac shopping list

Since my birthday is only a few months after Christmas, I will sometimes combine gift cards, checks, or cash to buy some bigger purchases around my birthday. From both holidays, I have a $25 gift card, a $20 gift card, and about $5 left over on another card for the MAC pro store.

My total gift card limit: $50

The products that I want:

224 tapered blending brush: $30.00

My total: $54.50

Those are two brushes that I've had my eye on lately, especially now that I own the 239 and 217. I'm trying to expand my brush collection!

blogruary day 15 - if all my makeup disappeared

I saw Allison (amarixe) on YouTube do this tag awhile back and I thought that this was an interesting topic! Rather than chosing 10 items that I would replace first, I will be including a budget!


My budget: $50

There were some different items that I would have chosen, however they were limited edition or were discontinued.

If I were to replace any brushes that were lost, I would repurchase the MAC 129 ($34) and the MAC 217 ($22.50).
