MACs newly released collection is full of fun colors perfect for spring and summer. 

This collection includes six lipsticks, five lipglasses, three casual colors, four pigments, and four chromacraphic pencils. 

 

I decided to pick up two lipsticks and two lipglasses.

Sephora Haul + My Thoughts

Sephora is full of pretty makeup, skincare, and perfume items that make me go weak in the knees!

 

Some people deem Sephora as the Home Depot for women.

 

 

I received a gift card to Sephora for Christmas that I have been saving for something extra special.

 

I decided to get the luxurious Christian Dior Crème de Rose Smoothing Plumping Lip Balm.

 

I had high hopes for this product because its been raved about on YouTube by a lot of people. Unfortunately, this did not help keep my lips smooth or moisturized.

 

This product has been returned. I would not recommend this product if you have dry lips. Considering the price tag, I expected this to be holy grail status.

This is the time of year that so many people make New Years resolutions to workout more and get healthy.

 

Here are some of my workout equipment & accessories that I am currently coveting at the moment!

Outdoor Products Trail Diva Waist Pack - This seems perfect for carrying water, keys, and your cell phone during a nice outdoor walk, jog, or walk whichever your speed.

 

American Eagle Aerie Sequin Yoga Shortie - These are super cute and affordable! A great alternative to the Victoria Secret version.

 

Fitness Gear 8 lb Concave Kettlebell - Super cute and effective!

 

Empower 3-in-1 Kettlebell - This is great for beginners (or anyone for that matter). This allows you to adjust the weights as you advance in one simple product.

 

Polar FT4 Heart Rate Monitor - This beauty tracts your calories burned and monitors your heart rate while your working out. I actually ordered this from Amazon (way cheaper than other places) in PINK. :) I am so excited to start using this in the new year.

 

Fitness Gear 1 lb Neoprene Dumbbell - I picked this particular product because of the color! Dumbbells are perfect to incorporate in your workout routines.

 

Fitness Gear 8 lb Neoprene Dumbbell - Another cute addition to your workout equipment. It's important to gradually work your way up as you gain muscle and strength.

 

NIKE Women's Free Run+ 2 Running Shoe in Turquoise & Black - My favorite brand of running shoes is NIKE. These babies are gorgeous! A nice pair of running shoes make workout (and everyday life in general) more comfortable. I live in my NIKE running shoes - whether I'm working out or running errands.

 

 

Side note - I am not a fitness expert. I am a 24 year old (almost!) woman who wants to get fit and become healthier. These are my opinions. I am in no way an expert about workout equipment. The most important thing to remember is that everyone is different and you should do what works for you.

Happy New Year!

2014 represents the potential for change and new beginnings.

 

 

January 1st is the time for New Years Resolutions and spending time with loved ones.

 

 

 

 

 

 

I plan to make this year even better than 2013.

 

My 2014 Promises:

I will blog at least 2 days a week.

I will work out 6 days a week.

I will eat clean and healthy 90% of the time.

I will drink more water.

I will do more things around the house.

I will be more motivated.

I will work towards my BSN.

I will get an amazing RN job.

I will be the best nurse that I can be.

I will smile more.

I will not let negativity bring me down.

I will be more positive and optimistic.

 

 

 

I hope that you had an amazing Christmas and spent this time with your family and friends.

 

I hope that you have an amazing New Year and accomplish the things that you strive towards. If you have the passion and motivation, I believe that anything is possible.
