How to Earn Money While Shopping Online! (Not a Scam!!)

You may have heard a whisper of the word "Ebates" while browsing online, watching YouTube videos, reading blogs, or even watching the news. You may have even thought to yourself, "that's a scam" or "that's too good to be true". You may have pushed the word out of your thoughts to never been mentioned again.

Well I'm hear to remind you of that wondrous word "Ebates". Or I may be introducing you to the word for the first time ever.

You may be asking me "what is Ebates?"

Ebates is a website that claims "it pays to shop online!" This site is free to sign up and use. Once signed up, you shop directly through Ebates for your online purchases. Once you've confirmed your purchases, Ebates will provide you with a percentage of your total (before shipping and tax) and give you money cash back!

Four times a year or more, Ebates will send you cash back from your previous purchases. There are a couple different options: a Big Fat Check that will be mailed to you, the money transferred to a PayPal account, or you can send the money to your favorite charity.

This money is FREE when you purchase something online.

Ebates is available for over 1,700 stores!

Here are some examples of the cash back at different online stores!

For the ladies...
Bloomingdale's - 3% cash back
Nordstrom - 3% cash back
QVC - 2.5% cash back
Sephora - 4% cash back
ULTA - 4% cash back

And for any guys out there...

GNC - 5% cash back
Sports Authority - 6% cash back

For anyone...
Apple Store - 1% cash back
Best Buy - 1% cash back
iTunes - 7% cash back
Office Depot - 2% cash back

Please note: Sometimes the cash back will be doubled for extra savings! For example, at the time that I'm typing this Nordstrom is 6% cash back!

This website also lets you know of any coupons that you can use when shopping online!

If you are interested in signing up to Ebates, you can click here or click the Ebates logo at the bottom of this page.

Please let me know if you've ever used Ebates or you plan to start using Ebates! It's an amazing site and I wish I had found it sooner.

XOXO

Please note: I am not affiliated with Ebates at all. I signed up after hearing so much about it and I've been loving it!

Sephora Haul + My Thoughts

Sephora is full of pretty makeup, skincare, and perfume items that make me go weak in the knees!

Some people deem Sephora as the Home Depot for women.

I received a gift card to Sephora for Christmas that I have been saving for something extra special.

I decided to get the luxurious Christian Dior Crème de Rose Smoothing Plumping Lip Balm.

I had high hopes for this product because its been raved about on YouTube by a lot of people. Unfortunately, this did not help keep my lips smooth or moisturized.

This product has been returned. I would not recommend this product if you have dry lips. Considering the price tag, I expected this to be holy grail status.

blogruary day 19 - products with fun names

I thought a cute blog post would be products that I want to buy mainly (or only) based upon their names!

Nice knickers (benefit lipstick)
Pink poodle (mac lipglass)
Wonderstruck (mac lustreglass)
Sushi flower (mac eye shadow)
Knight divine (mac eye shadow)
Pink in love (dior blush)
Frankly i don't give a-dam (sephora by opi nail polish)

This was not as easy as I was expecting it to be. Mainly due to the fact that I had to search online in each different category and brand to find cute names. I heard about the benefit lipstick from a YouTube video which was the inspiration for this blog post.

XOXO

Daily Makeup & Hair Routine of 2011

Daily Routine as of 06/28/2011

Daily Routine as of 06/28/2011 by MissEndlessDreamer on Polyvore.com

Hello again!! As promised, I have another polyvore collage. I want to keep up with this idea as well -- daily routine! This will be my makeup & hair routine that I have been currently following for a few weeks.

  1. Olay active hydrating original beauty fluid ($6.99)
  2. MAC Oil Control Lotion ($29.50)
  3. Loreal Paris True Match Naturale Gentle Mineral Makeup with an SPF 19 in #458 light ivory ($12.99) and Loreal Paris True Match Naturale Soft-Focus Mineral Finish in #401 translucent (not shown -- $12.99)
  4. MAC Sheertone Shimmer Blush in plum foolery ($19.50) with MAC 129 powder/blush brush ($34.00).
  5. Too Faced Shadow Insurance ($18.00)
  6. Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadow/Liner in bunny hop (color discontinued -- $19.00)
  7. NYX single eyes shadow in taupe ($5.50)
  8. Urban Decay eyeshadow in sell out ($17.00)
  9. Revlon Eyelash Curler ($5.99)
  10. Maybelline mascara (left to right)
    1. The Colossal Volum' Express in glam black ($6.99)
    2. The Classic Volum' Express in very black ($6.99)
    3. The Falsies Volum' Express in blackest black ($6.99)
    4. One By One Volum' Express in blackest black ($7.99)
  11. Neutrogena naturals lip balm ($2.99)
  12. Tube lip gloss
    1. Victoria Secret Beauty Rush (color tags worn off -- $7.00)
    2. Max Factor in first kiss (discontinued? -- $2.95)
    3. Bath and Body Works Tutti Dolci in creme brulee (not shown -- discontinued)
  13. Lauren Conrad inspired front braid

Please note
The shadow brush shown in the image above is not the brush that I use. I could not find the actual brush that I use because it is from a cheap makeup kit that was given as a gift many many years ago. The brush that I chose for the image looks very similar to the one I use for both the main color and the highlight. I may actually go get that Sephora brush to replace mine since the ferrule is coming loose.

How in the world can you afford $223.36 worth of makeup?

I were to go out to the mall right now and by everything in that list, no I would not be able to afford that. Of course, this is stuff that I have bought over time. And on sale!! Four mascaras??? I bought them all two at a time (weeks/months apart) at a BOGO 50% sale which ULTA has all the time. $26 too much for a foundation and finishing powder? Same thing -- BOGO 50% sales. Some of the above items listed were also bought from whole sale websites and eBay. If you do decide to go that route, BE CAREFUL! Make sure that you research before buying anything just in case it is not authentic.

Recommendations (love it)
Foundation
NYX eye shadow
Maybelline mascaras (any of them)
VS Beauty Rush glosses

Skips (don't hate, but only ok)
MAC Oil Control Lotion (even for oily-skin girls)
Lip balm (try Blistex --- favorite)

Goodbye for now lovelies!!
Miss Heather :)
